By Constanza Alarcón Tennen

Music Director: Gideon Broshy

Earthquake for 5 Singers is a performance in which opera singers and whistlers interpret sounds originating from the translation of seismic data obtained by 5 geological stations around the world after the earthquake in Chile in February 2010. This data, which was later transformed into sound files, became a sonic score to be interpreted live by the singers.
